The program takes place in remote island communities within Raja Ampat, Indonesia. Volunteers usually travel via Sorong before continuing by boat to the island location.
2. Do I need teaching experience?
No formal teaching qualification is required. We value enthusiasm, patience, creativity, and cultural sensitivity more than formal credentials.
3. What will I actually do as a volunteer?
You will:
Support interactive English learning sessions
Facilitate games, storytelling, and creative activities
Engage in cultural exchange
Participate in community life
The experience focuses on connection rather than formal classroom pressure.
4. How long can I stay?
The minimum stay is 2 weeks, and the typical duration is 2–4 weeks to ensure meaningful engagement.
5. Where will I stay?
Volunteers stay with host families or community homestays. Accommodation is simple, clean, and culturally immersive.
6. Are meals included?
Yes. Daily meals based on local cuisine are provided during your stay.
7. Is it safe?
We prioritize volunteer safety through:

8. Do I need travel insurance?
Yes. Comprehensive travel insurance covering medical care and evacuation is strongly required.

10. Can I explore Raja Ampat during my stay?
Yes, during free time, volunteers are welcome to visit nearby islands at their own expense, participate in snorkeling activities, and explore local culture, subject to schedule availability and weather conditions.

12. What about internet access?
Internet access may be limited and unstable depending on the island location. This is part of the immersive experience.

Yes, but respectfully. Volunteers must follow ethical storytelling guidelines and child protection policies before sharing identifiable content.
14. What happens in case of emergency?
We have an Emergency Response SOP covering:
